Who I Am and Why I’m Here

After late nights of researching, googling information, youtubing, following inspirational and successful influencers on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, even toiling on “how” to effectively use a blogging platform, I FINALLY came to the realization that I needed to get down to the fundamentals of blogging and take a class.  Now I’m not encouraging everyone to do this, but knowing myself, taking an online self paced course has been a good challenge for me.  So here goes!  This is my first blogging assignment, so I’m excited to open myself up to you, and share about why I decided to explore blogging.

profilepicWho am I?

I am a 38 year old, married, christian woman, a defensive entreprenuer, an encourager, a dreamer, motivator, and a radical for Christ, who loves people, and is passionate about sharing the love of Christ through writing and through inspiring and encouraging others on a daily basis.  I live in Virginia with my husband, and have three beautiful step children.  Encouraging others, specifically, millennials, women, and men and women in marriage relationships are my sweet spots.

Ultimately, inspiring and encouraging individuals from all walks of life to walk in their divine purpose and to live out the dreams and goals that God has called them to, is my mission in life.  Leaving a legacy for my kids and family are most important to me, so a lot of what I do revolves with those things in mind.

The foundation of my writing is from the Word of God and is inspired by life’s happenings and through my personal experiences.  Vulnerability, transparency, and being emotionally and spiritually naked before you, are why my inspired blog posts are so compelling to read and easy to relate to.  My goal is for readers to feel as though they are not alone in their unique situation and this journey called life and to finish reading my blog posts feeling loved by God and encouraged that He is with them despite what is happening in their lives.
