Deciding Not To Quit

Have you ever thought about quitting or giving up? Don’t worry, you are not alone. The thought of throwing in the towel because of an overwhelming situation, because of your business not growing, or a lot of times because of the pressures of life, are feelings that I have had, and sometimes still have now. I’m sure many of you reading this can relate. We’ve all been there and if you’re there now, know that you’re not alone.

As I’m writing this message, I want to encourage you to not quit; in the physical and most importantly, in your heart and mind. Yes, you may be frustrated with your situation, feel like things are not fair in your life, or feel like you’ve been praying about a thing and not seeing any results.

You are not alone!

Let me repeat this….

YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I’m saying this from the core of my heart.

Friends, God knows and understands EVERYTHING you’re going through. Over the years, I’ve had many times when I felt discouraged, when I felt like quitting, or just felt like the hard work I was putting into something was not producing the results that I wanted. To be transparent, I’ve felt like that in the areas of my career at times, our family online business, in my writing, and even sometimes in my personal growth and development.

Can you relate?

Yes, it can be frustrating and sometimes I doubted myself, but the one thing that God reminds me every time I have those thoughts and sometimes have those thoughts now, is that He is still in control. God reminds me that He cares for me and that He loves me and that He wouldn’t put any more on me than I can bear. The scripture that comes to mind and one that I have to remind myself of all the time, that I believe will also encourage you, is 1 Corinthians 10:13.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Although you may not see results in the physical, know that God is working behind the scenes. The thing is though, YOU have to believe that God is working on your behalf. If you don’t believe yourself, then there’s no need in getting upset about why you’re not getting the results you want….It’s because you don’t even believe what God says in His Word about your situation.

The one thing God has been teaching me lately is that despite what I may see in the natural, He is ALWAYS actively working. Whether other people can see it or not, YOU have to believe that all the seeds you’ve been planting and the hard work you’ve been investing into whatever you’re doing and working towards, will produce a harvest, as long as it’s in God’s will. As you probably have experienced, the thing you’re believing and hoping for may not happen in your time, but it will happen in God’s time.

If you’re not shouting right now, praising God, then you should be!

Think about it….

He will bring our desires to pass in His timing, which is always the perfect time designed just for us. When I think about that, it helps me remain grateful because I know that at the end of the day, God’s timing is better than my timing.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

No matter what you’re experiencing in your life right now, despite how things may look, make a pre-determined decision that you are NOT going to quit on yourself, your goals, your dreams, your God given desires, and most importantly, in your heart and in your mind.

I pray this message encourages you and reminds you that you are not alone. Friend, I believe in you and am excited about all that God has in store for your life. We are on this journey of life together!!
